Steven earned his master’s degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He completed his graduate internship in the adult psych and dual diagnosis units at Timberlawn Mental Health Services, and subsequently worked as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and Case Manager for Metrocare. After working as a Behavioral Technician with the Housson Center, Steven went on to serve as the Middle School Therapist at Vanguard Preparatory School before joining Apple Counseling, and then LifeStance. Steven enjoys working with clients of all ages–particularly adolescents and young adults, for whom he strives to “be the person you needed when you were younger.” Steven also has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, is a husband, father, and a lifelong musician.
