Mica Dow

Position: M.S., LPC-S, LCDC 72200

Mica has worked with at-risk youth for over 8 years. She has lived in Texas most of her life and received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University. Mica has a passion for working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, substance abuse, relationship issues, and trauma. She also enjoys working with the LGBTQ population and minorities. Mica believes that building a healthy relationship with her clients is the foundation for successful therapy. As a counselor, Mica operates from a cognitive behavioral approach which allows clients to connect their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She strives to empower her clients to believe in themselves while supporting them along the way.
