Judy Taylor

Position: LMFT-A 204747

I come to the table to serve you with ample experience providing counseling and therapy from the perspective of a former United States Army Soldier, committed wife 20 years and mother of four wonderful children ranging from elementary age to teen years. We are a recently retired military family having spent the last 20 years with 8 moves in 6 states and having endured 5 wartime deployments. With my husband completing his military career and me completing my education as a therapist, we have moved back to my home state of Texas. The experience I have gained from so much change has greatly equipped me to see problems from many angles. I have had the blessing of staying home with my kids in their formative years. Now that they are all school age, I am able to pursue this amazing role to which I have been called. My chief goal is to invest time with people in difficult situations and walk others from a place of pain to a place of healing. This comes from a recognition that the most important aspect of therapy is having a personal connection with my clients and ensuring they are both safe and heard. I am a member of Cornerstone Christian Church in Farmer’s Branch and with strong rooting in my faith, I stand ready to engage the toughest of hardships with grace and kindness and will guide you in doing the needed work to achieve restoration. I believe this is possible for all situations and I genuinely believe that it can happen for you. While my chief focus is trauma, I am very passionate about leading families to healing and helping image-bearers of God achieve true peace in their lives. I am confident that we can sit down and establish a plan to bring true light to your journey.
