John-Robert is a Texas native who graduated from The University of Texas-Pan American and The University of Texas at San Antonio, respectively. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, with minors in Leadership and Addiction Studies, and his Master’s of Arts in Counseling. Upon graduation, he moved to Plano to start working in private practice as well as Plano ISD. With over a decade of experience working with people of nearly all ages and walks of life, John-Robert has found that his focus is on people in their 20s and 30s, as well as adult men.

He is passionate about helping individuals work towards becoming the best versions of themselves. His goal is to make you feel a comfortable, non-judgmental, and genuine connection in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Using proven techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Exposure and Response Prevention, John-Robert helps untangle life’s messes.

When he’s not counseling, you’ll find him traveling with his dogs to the mountains to center himself. He also is active in his church, enjoys all things automotive, and loves living life to the fullest.
