Cassie Samuelson is supervised by Kacey Vasquez PhD-C, LPC-S, NCC.
Cassie is passionate about helping teenagers, adults, and couples find peace in their present moment, helping clients to accept their yesterdays and tomorrows, in order to honor the moment they’re already in. She prioritizes authenticity, connection, autonomy, emotional experiencing, and functional feelings skills to walk with clients through the challenges they face.
Specifically, Cassie has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergent concerns such as ADHD, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, and other life stressors. Cassie works from the perspective that a person’s self is wholly good; her care is affirmative of all persons and seeks to encourage clients to live as their most authentic self.
Cassie graduated with both her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor of Arts in Music from Tarleton State University. She loves spending time with her spouse and two miniature schnauzers, Eileen and Louie, the very most. She also enjoys reading, music and singing, camping and hiking, writing, Marvel movies, and writing a good list. Education:
