Cassie Mills is a Licensed professional counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) who has been practicing since 2009. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus on both physical and mental disabilities. Cassie believes in meeting the client where they are by utilizing a person-center approach where her clients feel heard and validated. Her hope is through self-awareness, clients gain positive self-growth, achieve stronger self-acceptance, confidence, and meaningful relationships. Her main areas of focus include working with adolescents, teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, stress management, substance abuse/misuse, trauma and neurodiversity (ADHD, autism spectrum disorder).
In her spare time, Cassie enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking/baking, playing with her 3 dogs, building LEGOS with her husband and organizing everything.
