Offering three easy ways to connect with your therapist.
Meeting in person gives you a chance to talk with a counselor face-to-face. Additionally, a change of scene can be good for your well-being. Face-to-face treatment and talk therapy have been proven to be effective for helping people.
Teletherapy is any remote therapy that uses technology to help the therapist and client communicate. Some examples of teletherapy include doing therapy sessions over the phone, using videoconferencing for individual, couples, or group therapy, and receiving therapy via email or instant messenger.
What to Expect
When you call to set up an appointment, our office staff will ask you some questions about what is bringing you into therapy or life coaching, your counselor preferences, your schedule, your office preference and your insurance benefits. This will help us pick the right counselor for you. We want you to have a good experience and we are committed to make this happen. If we cannot help you with your situation, we will help get you to someone who can.
You will be set up with an appointment time that will work for you. We will get all of your insurance information from you and check your benefits and let you know exactly how much you will need to pay at the time of your appointment.
It will be helpful for you to bring in completed paperwork downloaded from our website to your first appointment or you can fill it out when you arrive if you did not submit it electronically.
Your initial appointment will be a time that you will meet your counselor and either give them a good history about yourself or your child. It is a time to decide if you think you counselor is a good fit. It is essential that you feel comfortable with your counselor and think the two of you will work well together. We understand that not all people click well with one another and if you need to switch to another counselor that is totally acceptable. We are here for you!
