We offer a variety of groups

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a great addition to your mental health journey. Whether or not you are in individual therapy, group therapy is a great way to be around people who share similar struggles and experiences while providing the support you need.

We offer the following groups

Teen Girls Group

This 8-week group is for self-identifying girls, ages 13-17. The group focuses on psycho-education (regarding mood, anxiety, social media, healthy boundaries, etc), coping skills, social skills, and interpersonal relationships. Each session is interactive and experiential so members may participate in emotionally engaging activities during each meeting.

Teen Boys Group

An open group for self-identifying boys, ages 13-17. The group's focus is on psycho-education (regarding mood, anxiety, social media, healthy boundaries, etc), coping skills, social skills, and interpersonal relationships. Each session is interactive and experiential so members may participate in emotionally engaging activities during each meeting.

LGBTQIA+ Teen Group

Eating Disorder Teen (+Loved Ones) Group

The ED Teen group is NOT a weight loss group. Individuals must be medically stable to attend groups, as demonstrated by recent (within two weeks) visit to a medical provider with vitals and lab work within medically acceptable ranges.

DBT Teen Group

DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is an evidence-based therapy which focuses on improving skills in four major areas of functioning: distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and healthy interpersonal relationships. Typically very structured, this group takes a more flexible approach while retaining the benefits of Marsha Linehan’s theory. For Teens 13-18.

Young Adult Skills Sessions - Launching Group

For ages 18 (high school graduate) to 25, all genders. Young Adulthood can be both an exciting and scary time, filled with many rites of passage to successfully navigate to adulthood. A phrase that is becoming more common is “failure to launch” and while it is not a true diagnosis it is a common way to describe a young adult who is struggling with the transition. It can be defined as an inability to leave home and support oneself, regardless of the underlying cause. Young adults struggling with failure to launch (or failure to thrive) may appear to be “stuck” or not maturing in an age-appropriate way. This group focuses on the skills necessary to successfully negotiate the path.

Substance Group
Substance Abuse Education & Prevention Teen Group

Substance abuse prevention helps individuals develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to make choices in accordance with their values. The use of drugs during childhood and adolescence has the potential to disrupt brain function in areas critical to motivation, memory, learning, judgment, and behavior control.. Substance abuse prevention/ awareness programs foster protective factors, such as connectedness and positive relationships. Group members will learn skills important to promote healthy coping, improved decision making, goal setting, self-management, and bystander intervention.
